Financial sustainability

Data are the business foundation of the EOS Group. This is why we employ around 90 people across the Group to constantly improve data protection and information security. With the help of monitoring tools, we were able to identify and stop around 600 attempted attacks in 2022/23 alone. As part of the new “Iron EOS” program, we are currently establishing a protection system that will enable us to respond not just quickly but also in a coordinated way across the entire Group.

Als Mitglied eines Familienunternehmens – der Otto Group – achten wir auch auf eine Preisgestaltung, die den Interessen und ethischen Standards aller Beteiligten langfristig gerecht wird. Beispiel: In Partnerschaft mit International Finance Corporation (IFC), einer Tochtergesellschaft der Weltbank, wird EOS innerhalb von drei Jahren mehr als 100 Millionen Euro in notleidende Kredite und Immobilien in Osteuropa investieren – unter Einhaltung der ESG-Standards (Environmental, Social & Governance). 

Bei der Auswahl von Partnern und Kunden wendet EOS ebenfalls strenge Kriterien an. Dazu gehört nicht nur die regelmäßige Überprüfung von Partnern und Unternehmen hinsichtlich ihres Umgangs mit Themen wie Menschenrechten, Geldwäsche und Korruption, sondern auch eine Blacklist für die Branche.

Unser Code of Conduct für Dienstleister, der die UN-Ziele für nachhaltige Entwicklung und Klauseln aus dem Lieferkettengesetz umfasst, sorgt für einen fairen Umgang mit Lieferanten und die Einhaltung von menschenrechtlichen und umweltbezogenen Sorgfaltspflichten entlang der Lieferkette.
